As we close in on our $30K goal earning Read-apalooza (less than $200 away!), PTO is upping the ante AGAIN and offering one paramount, supremely ultimate, over the top incentive to see if we can reach $35K. How would y'all like to see.....

doing TikTok dances?!?!? If we reach $35K, our principal and assistant principals will learn, perfect, and perform three popular TikTok dances - Double Dutch, Need You Now, & Lush Life - for your viewing pleasure! Here we go - one last push! One last week to go!

Monroe County Schools will operate on a delayed schedule on Monday, March 16, 2026, due to the threat of severe weather during the morning commute. All schools will begin at 10 a.m. Buses will be on a two-hour delay. Please use caution when traveling to school in the morning. Faculty and staff should report by 9:30 a.m. Student drop off can begin occurring at 9:30 a.m.

PreK - 2nd grade - drop off at the first awning.
3rd - 5th grades - drop off at the second awning.
Both lanes are open - please feel free to use the left lane if only

WE ARE SO CLOSE to meeting our next goal and getting to splash a principal! Please help us reach that goal! Have you registered your child? That's the first step! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we are working to build an outdoor classroom for all to enjoy! TIA!

This past Saturday, TG Scott’s Science Olympiad team, The Sci Bears, competed in the district tournament. and took home overall champion for the fourth year in a row!
They ranked first in the following events:
Backyard Biology, Bridge Building, Data Crunchers, Deep Blue Sea, Grab a Gram, Mystery Architect, Rock Hound, and Starry, Starry Night.
We are super proud of these students' accomplishments! The Sci Bears will head to the MGRESA Regional Competition on March 7 at Jones County High school where they will compete against teams from across Middle Georgia. We are so excited for them and wish them the best of luck!
