Our TGS Robotics team, the Electric Cubs, scored a season-high 220 points on robot missions — their best performance all season and earned 1st place in Robot Design.
These students have worked extremely hard this season. They've collaborated well, showed real passion for competing, and put in the time and effort needed to be competition-ready. Ms. Moreno is so proud of their dedication and accomplishments! Big special shout out to Anderson Barrett, a member of the MCMS Coding Canines robotics team and former Electric Cub. He has worked with this team and helped, encouraged, and prepared them right alongside Ms. Moreno.
Congratulations, Electric Cubs!

We are so excited about our parade float taking 3rd place for Best in Show (behind businesses, Davis Plumbing and Head Heating & Air) in the 2025 Hometown Holidays parade! Congrats to all the students and parent volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this vision a successful venture! We appreciate the 130+ hours of time in the cold rain, at school, and at home, the effort and sacrifice, and the heart put into the beautiful creation.
Special thanks to:
- David Woodberry for once again loaning us the trailer for the week and pulling our float with safety, caution, and fun!
- Nick Morgan for starring as Buddy the Elf and drawing more crowd interaction than ever before!
- Our art classes for the beautifully spectacular snowflakes, each one uniquely crafted, and our Jr. Beta members for painting the gingerbread house and creating the perfect snowlink chains!
- Ashley Holt and Sherri Hearn, Parade Committee Chairs, and their entire team for the amazing design, organization, and execution!
Our elves worked magic, and the 100% volunteer work paid off!
