BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO OLIVIA YAWN, who won 1st place at the Middle Georgia RESA Level of the Young GA Author Competition! We are so proud of her and wish her the very best as she moves on to state. We know she will represent us well! Way to go, Olivia!

As we close out Read Across America week and "reading our nation's story: 250 year strong" tomorrow, we want to see your favorite book character OR your patriotism - wear red, white, and blue! Thanks for having fun with this week! Keep on reading!

THANK YOU to Jonah's for an amazing Spirit Night sponsoring our Read-athon! We appreciate the partnership and faithful support of our school. And, thanks to all the families who came out, investing in our fundraiser's success (and getting yummy food too!) through this event!

Since tomorrow is also TGS Career Day, we want everyone to dress as what you want to be when you grow up—scientist, artist, athlete, inventor, leader, professional rodeo clown, etc. What are some other ideas? Dream big and show us your career aspirations!

Just a hat tip to you - tomorrow is our 3rd day of "Reading Our Nation's Story" as we observe Read Across America week, and we ask that you wear a hat representing a career, dream, or American role -hard hat, chef hat, cowboy hat, baseball cap, etc- we can't wait to see them all!

We are so appreciative of community business partners who have generously sponsored our 2026 Read-athon! Thanks to these businesses for the support! If you'd like to join them in backing our school's largest fundraiser, please scan the QR code or email tgscottpto1@gmail.com. TY!

We hope everyone is enjoying Read Across America week! Don't forget that tomorrow's theme is to dress as a hero or helper—firefighters, nurses, teachers, military, or community helpers! Let's honor these heroes who help keep us safe and healthy right here in our local area!

WE ARE SO CLOSE to meeting our next goal and getting to splash a principal! Please help us reach that goal! Have you registered your child? That's the first step! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we are working to build an outdoor classroom for all to enjoy! TIA!
