Please mark your calendars for our annual Title 1 meeting which will be Thurs, Sept 24, at 8am, 4pm, or 5pm in the TGS Data Room. This is a chance for you to hear more about the Title 1 funds we receive and how these funds are used in our school. Hope to see you there!

TGS will be joining with HES, KBS, and MCMS in Hats4Hope this Friday, September 25. We HOPE that you will support this effort to give HOPE to children in our community as they battle cancer. Give $1, wear a hat to school, & give HOPE to so many of our local kids!

On Friday, September 18, Jeremiah's will be selling their amazing Italian Ice at school during lunch! The cost is $5/ cup, and a portion of the proceeds will go back to TGS! Thanks for supporting this fun and yummy school fundraiser!

TGS parents, please note our early dismissal for car riders the first 3 days of school. Monday, August 3, car riders will be released at 2:45. Tuesday, August 4, and Wednesday, August 5, car riders will be released at 3:00. Beginning August 6, car riders will be released at 3:15

As we close in on our $30K goal earning Read-apalooza (less than $200 away!), PTO is upping the ante AGAIN and offering one paramount, supremely ultimate, over the top incentive to see if we can reach $35K. How would y'all like to see.....

Monroe County Schools will operate on a delayed schedule on Monday, March 16, 2026, due to the threat of severe weather during the morning commute. All schools will begin at 10 a.m. Buses will be on a two-hour delay. Please use caution when traveling to school in the morning. Faculty and staff should report by 9:30 a.m. Student drop off can begin occurring at 9:30 a.m.
