K.B. Sutton Elementary is hosting a community-wide Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 16 from 9am to 12pm at K.B. Sutton Elementary School (1315 Highway 83 North Forsyth, GA). Tickets are $5 per person ages 2 and up and include: a delicious pancake breakfast, selfies with Santa, crafts, a dance party, and more!"

Congratulations to our KBS Robo Knights for placing first in Robot Performance at the Regional Competition that was held at Middle Georgia State University on December 2, 2023. Congratulations to Piper Stavely for winning our school level spelling bee last week! She and four other students (Trippe Storey, Skyler Baxter, Nash McKneely, and Wren Alexander) will be moving on to compete in the District Spelling Bee in January!
Leadership Monroe is partnering with K.B. Sutton Elementary School to host a Parents' Night Out Fundraiser for the Anchor of Hope Foundation. This event will be held at K.B. Sutton Elementary (1315 Highway 83 North Forsyth, GA) on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 5:30pm-8:30pm. The fee is $25 per child and includes: dinner, movie & popcorn, indoor/outdoor games, a visit with Santa, crafts, and a DJ!

Hey KBS Family! We need your help to decorate our Media Center tree! Pick a favorite story book character, then make an ornament using any materials. Please do NOT use glass. Bring in your original ornament by Friday, December 15, 2023. Our faculty and staff will vote on their favorite character ornament and the top ornament designer will win a prize. We will keep the prize-winning ornament to display on our tree each year. Please pick up all other ornaments on Monday, December 18.
Our KBS float was a beautiful sight in last week's Hometown Holidays Parade! Nitro, our KBS knight, and several KBS friends enjoyed rocking around the Christmas tree and wishing everyone a very merry Christmas! Thank you to Mr. Jerry and Mrs. Alyssa Davis for planning, designing, building and pulling our float and to all the KBS volunteers and staff who helped! Congratulations for winning the award for "best use of lights overall"!
Students who followed "the knight way" for the month of November were able to participate in the PBIS Class Challenge Day last week! Classes enjoyed healthy competition in relay races, tug-o-war, kickball and red rover! Our next PBIS celebration (SNOW DAY) for students who have no referrals the month of December will be held on December 19th! #GADOEPBIS
